Karnataka Management Admission Test (KMAT) is a common entrance test conducted by the Karnataka Private Postgraduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) for admission to MBA, MCA and PGDM courses of study in AICTE approved university affiliated self-financing colleges in Karnataka. Lakhs of aspirants slug it out every year to secure admission to the top tier business schools in the state. KMAT exam provides students access to over 169 colleges in Karnataka, these colleges are known as KMAT participating institutes. This test permitted by the Government of Karnataka is a golden opportunity for individuals wishing to seek admission to MBA, MCA and PGDM courses in the best colleges in the state.

KMAT 2017 Eligibility:-

MBA/PGDM -

Bachelors degree with minimum 3 years duration/ Masters degree examination of any recognized education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent, and have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidate). Candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible.

MCA -

Bachelor's degree with 50% marks. Candidates should have studied Maths at 10+2 stage or at graduation level.

Photo and Signature: Candidates have to make a scanned copy of Passport Size Photograph (Max 500 Kb) and Signature (500 kb) before Start Applying.

Candidates who are applying for either MBA or MCA have to make an online payment of Rs 800/-

Candidates who want to take up both the MBA and the MCA test will have to register for each test separately. Two separate Hall Tickets will be issued.
